But I guess that this is a whole different (driver) issue? Is the antenna switch introducing this massive loss? Can this antenna switch be bypassed via software or is it purely a hardware function? One possible cause that comes to mind is the Antenna Diversity? Any suggestions on how to increase the range for the broadcom will be appreciated.
